Impotence, erectile dysfunction and Peyronie‘s disease treatment in Berlin
Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) in our Private Practice for Urology
ESWT (Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy) is a relatively new treatment that is successfully used for erectile dysfunction (ED). Focussed shockwaves can also be used to treat induratio penis plastica or Peyronie‘s disease. In our Private Practice for Urology in Berlin Wilmersdorf, we use the ESWT device PiezoWave² “Multiuse 30” (from the company ELvation) and have had very good results in treating erectile dysfunction with this therapy. In the case of erectile dysfunction, both cases of vascular damage and cavernous nerve injury can be treated. Even after a cancer operation (prostate, urinary bladder, intestine), in which nerves and vessels were damaged, ESWT can be used successfully in our clinic.
